Stuff to know
before you come to class
For the students
*Warm up and stretching
is so important for your body, please try to be on time to class so you don’t miss
out!!
*If you are coming
after school, a good snack and lots of water will help your body be strong enough
to do your best!
*You should wear
a leotard, if you don’t have one yet, don’t worry. You can wear some shorts and
a shirt tucked in, but get a Leo soon!
*You will need to
take off your shoes and socks and put them in a cubby before class starts (but wait
until the ongoing class is over)
*Your hair should
be pulled back, in a ponytail, barrette, or braid. We want to think about the stuff
we are learning, not messing with hair!
*Please don’t wear
necklaces, bracelets, or any dangle earrings. It could be a distraction, or a safety
hazard.
For the Parents
*Feel welcome to
stay and watch your child in the observation hall. However, it is a large open window,
and if you see your child paying more attention to you than the teacher, you may
want to step out for a moment until they can regain their focus.
*There is 10 minutes
in between each class, feel free to speak to your child’s teacher if you have any
questions or concerns. If you feel that it will last longer than that amount of
time, please make a phone call. We want to start each and every class on time.
*Snacks and Drinks
are okay; try to be mindful of your mess and clean up after yourself.
*The child room in
the back is open to your other children AS LONG AS YOU ARE SUPERVISING THEM. We
are not responsible for any children that are not participating in a class. We reserve
the right to close the room and not allow it’s use if this rule is not respected.
